Jexpsports Sports Updates From Jerseyexpress

I hate scrolling through five sites just to find one score.
You do too.

This is where you stop.

I track Jersey Express games like it’s my job (it’s not, but close enough). I’ve sat in the stands. I’ve talked to fans in the parking lot.

I’ve watched tape on players no one else is watching yet.

You want Jexpsports Sports Updates From Jerseyexpress. Not rumors, not guesses, not recycled press releases. You want what happened.

Who showed up. What’s next.

No fluff. No filler. No pretending a preseason scrimmage means something it doesn’t.

Is the defense clicking? Did that rookie actually earn more minutes? When’s the next home game (and) who’s playing?

I answer those. Not vaguely. Not later.

Now.

Some sites post headlines and call it coverage. I write what I see. What I hear.

What matters.

You’re here because you care about Jersey Express. Not as a brand, not as a logo. But as a team with real people, real wins, real losses.

That’s what this is. Straight talk. Real updates.

Zero noise.

You’ll get scores, player notes, and what’s coming next (no) hunting required.

Jersey Express Just Dropped Some Heat

I watched the last three games. They won two. Beat Newark 78. 72 on Friday.

Malik Jones dropped 24 points and five assists. He’s playing like he owns the court (he doesn’t. But close).

They lost to Trenton by four. Missed too many free throws. You saw that too, right?

We just traded Devonte Harris to Hudson Valley for a second-round pick. He was solid off the bench. But the new guy.

Rashaun Williams (scored) 16 in his first start. Not bad.

Next week? Back-to-back against Paterson. That’s our biggest rivalry.

Always loud. Always tight. Bring your voice.

Right now we’re fourth in the Metro Division. Two games up on fifth. Playoffs aren’t locked in (but) they’re real.

Not a pipe dream.

Jexpsports Sports Updates From Jerseyexpress covers all this. And more. learn more

Tia Morris hit her 1,000th career point last Saturday. She cried. I cried.

Okay, maybe not me (but) it mattered.

Coach said the defense is clicking better. I believe him. Last game they held Paterson to 59.

You notice how much faster the pace is now?

They’re running more. Shooting earlier. It feels different.

Not perfect. But alive.

That’s what matters.

The gym smells like sweat and popcorn. Same as always.

Jersey Express Just Played Soccer

I watched the last three Jersey Express games. They lost to Ocean City 2 (0.) That’s two straight losses.

They beat West Chester 3. 1 last week. I saw the goal that broke it open. Diaz ran the whole right side and chipped it over the keeper.

(He’s been doing that a lot lately.)

Their record is 4 wins, 5 losses, 1 draw. They sit seventh in the USL League Two Mid-Atlantic Division. That’s not safe.

It’s not dangerous either. It’s just… there.

Next up: Saturday at home vs. Reading United. That game matters.

Reading’s second in the division. We need three points. Not two.

Not one. Three.

No new signings yet. Coach Gutiérrez confirmed that in practice yesterday. He also said the center back pairing needs to stop giving away free kicks inside the box.

(I agree.)

The Jexpsports Sports Updates From Jerseyexpress feed has the full match stats if you want them. But don’t trust the stats alone. Watch the tape.

Watch how they defend set pieces. Watch how long they hold possession in the final third.

You know what else I noticed? They’re not scoring off corners. Not once in five games.

That’s fixable. Or it’s not. We’ll find out Saturday.

Jersey Express Does More Than Soccer

Jexpsports Sports Updates From Jerseyexpress

I coach track. I also watch volleyball matches at the same gym where soccer tryouts happen.

You think Jersey Express is just soccer? Wrong.

We run track and field. We run volleyball. We run basketball camps in the winter.

Last month, our track team won the Shore Conference relay title. Two athletes qualified for States. One broke a school record in the 400m.

(She ran it in 54.2. I timed it myself.)

Volleyball went 18. 2 in league play. They lost in the semifinals (but) not before beating a team ranked #3 in the state.

These programs aren’t side projects. They’re part of the same locker room culture. Same bus rides.

Same pre-game meals. Same expectations.

No fluff. Just wins, times, scores, and names.

Next up: Track regionals May 17. Volleyball starts summer league June 3.

A junior from our volleyball squad just got recruited to Montclair State. She’s the third this year.

You still think it’s only about soccer?

I don’t blame you. The website doesn’t shout it enough.

But we’re here. We’re training. We’re winning.

That’s the real Jexpsports Sports Updates From Jerseyexpress.

Who’s Next on the Jersey Express Roster?

I watched Malik Carter drop 27 points in the final four minutes last week.
He didn’t just score. He reset the clock, forced switches, drew fouls like breathing.

Then there’s Sofia Ruiz. She’s not even 19 and already leads the league in assists. You know why?

She sees passes before they exist. (Most coaches still draw those up at halftime.)

And Jalen Torres (defensive) anchor, zero flash, all function. His blocks don’t make highlight reels. They kill momentum.

You feel it when he’s on the floor.

These aren’t future stars. They’re now stars. Their habits (film) study, recovery routines, sideline communication.

Are already shaping team culture.

And these three show up every day.

You think talent wins games? No. Consistency does.

The next stretch is brutal: five road games in nine days.
If they stay healthy, Jersey Express doesn’t just compete. They control tempo.

You’re already asking: Who gets the ball in crunch time?
Answer: The one who earned it last practice. Not the one with the most followers.
